About us

Products

We sell books, bookish merchandise, and related items. Product descriptions, images, and prices are shown on our website at the time of your order. Prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable.

Our "Blind Date with a Book" product (£14.99) is a curated surprise item — by nature, the specific book and merch included are not revealed before purchase. Genre preference (Dark Romance or Romantasy) and a drink preference (tea or coffee) can be selected at checkout, but the exact book and merch selection is a surprise.

Orders and payment

Orders are placed and paid for via our Stripe checkout.
A contract between us is formed once we accept your order (i.e. once payment is confirmed and we dispatch or confirm your order).
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order (e.g. if an item is out of stock), in which case you'll receive a full refund.

Delivery

We currently ship to UK addresses only.
Standard postage & packaging is £3.99. Orders over £50 qualify for free shipping via the code FREESHIP50 at checkout.
Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees. We'll notify you of any significant delay.

Your right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. See our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

Faulty or damaged items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us at info@twistedpagebookshop.com within a reasonable time of receipt and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.

Intellectual property

All content on this website — including logos, branding, and text — belongs to The Twisted Page Bookshop and may not be reproduced without permission.

Liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of our website or products, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (e.g. death or personal injury caused by negligence).

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
